A Happy New Year!!

 My husband and I visited Garden Koko-en today.  It was cold but we were able to see several kinds of traditional Japanese gardens.  Both of us enjoyed one hour sightseeing there.   

 I am hoping that everyone had a nice new year's day! :D

After visiting Koko en garden yesterday, my husband and I headed to Himeji Gokoku shrine. We walked for a while and stayed outside in the cold weather on new year's day, so we took a good rest today. :D

Hello. I joined a worldwide pen pal app. last November.  I got to know many pen pals there.  I was very excited to receive letters from all over the world through the app.  Every one sent me similar messages such as how was your Christmas or how were you doing, and they also wrote what they were doing. I was happy that they cared about me, and I wrote to them one by one.  "I saw wonderful Christmas trees at the mall.  I don't have Christmas trees at home.  But Japanese people like exchanging presents with their family and friends," etc.  In addition, I wrote about something to each pen pals for their customs, habits, religion, and hobbies. Sometimes I received as many as 5 long letters within 24 hours.  It kept me spending at least two hours for replying letters, and I thought it was overwhelmed.  I would like to finish my house chores at first, and wanted to go for a walk, and do knitting and so on.  But I had to give up these acti...
